The Lumin-S optical dissolved oxygen sensor delivers reliable DO measurements over a long operating life. There are no membranes to replace, no electrolyte solutions to replenish, and no anodes to clean. Maintaining the sensor is as easy as replacing the optical sensing cap once every 1-2 years, and since all calibration data is stored on the cap, there’s no need to calibrate. This dissolved oxygen sensor outputs a Modbus/RS-485 digital signal for easy PLC integration.
- Reliable measurements: Optical sensor technology delivers accurate DO monitoring with no drift and no minimum flow
- Long operating life with minimal maintenance: No membranes, electrolyte solutions, or anodes – just replace the cap once every 1-2 years
- No calibration: All calibration data is stored on the cap for quick and easy startup
- Simple system integration: Use Modbus/RS-485 to integrate with a PLC or other control system
- One year limited warranty: We stand behind all our products with the Sensorex Guarantee
Chlorine exists in different chemical forms in solution, including free chlorine (hypochlorite ion and hypochlorous acid) and combined chlorine. Free chlorine is the only form that can perform disinfection, so knowing free chlorine concentration is critical for applications like water and wastewater treatment. FCL free chlorine sensors from Sensorex provide a direct measurement of free chlorine in parts per million (ppm). Using field tested amperometric technology, our FCL sensors perform continuous monitoring without any additional reagents. With a direct 4-20mA output, the FCL sensors can be used with any instrument accepting a 4-20mA input or connected directly to a PLC or SCADA.
- Direct free chlorine measurement in parts per million (ppm)
- No reagents requried
- Direct 4-20mA output
Recommended accessories:
- Maintenance Kit (FCLA-5018): Maximize sensor lifetime by easily replacing membrane cap and fill solution
- Flow Cell (FC72): Maintains laminar flow across membrane and prevents air bubbles
- Flow Regulator (FM001): Provides consistent flow for added system stability
What is an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE)?
Ion Selective Electrode (ISEs) is a sensor that measures the activity of a specific ion dissolved in a solution into an electrical potential. The voltage is dependent on the logarithm of the ionic activity, which is based on the Nernst equation. The ion-selective electrodes are used in analytical chemistry and biochemical/biophysical research, where measurements of ionic concentration in a liquid solution are required.
Which parameters can I measure with an ISE electrode?
Sensorex offers Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE’s) for:
- Fluoride (F-)
- Chloride (Cl-)
- Ammonium (NH4+)
- Postassium (K+)
- Nitrate (NO3-)
Sensorex ISE electrodes feature a combination electrode design to measure ion concentration in ppm. Depending on your application needs, you may select either the fixed cable style or detachable cartridge style. The detachable cartridge style electrodes are recommended for process applications, because they are easy to maintain or replace.
- Combination ISE electrodes for laboratory applications
- Fixed cable
- Durable epoxy body
IS222 Series – Process
- ISE electrode cartridges for process applications
- Easily detachable for quick maintenance or replacements
- Designed for use with S653 cable assembly
